Welcome to Kendrell Daniels Art!

Motion

My video work is rooted in self-portraiture, emotion, and lived experience. The projects I’ve made so far explore vulnerability, presence, and internal states using voice, movement, and visual atmosphere. These videos are often quiet, reflective, and personal, created with the same intention I bring to my still photography.

This is the beginning of what I see as a growing part of my fine art practice — using moving image to hold space for emotion, identity, and storytelling from my point of view.

"Even When I'm Quiet"

I talk about different emotions I’ve felt, repeating the line “even when I’m quiet” in each clip. That line reminds me and shows others that I still feel a lot, even when I don’t say anything. "What Comes In Focus"

My body moves between blurry and clear moments. That shift shows what it’s like when emotions are confusing or hard to understand clearly. "Held In Pieces"

In this video, I show six emotions at the same time in a split-screen. I wanted to show how different feelings can happen together and not always one by one. "What My Body Knows Anger & Calm Movement"

I use sharp, tense movements to show how anger feels in my body. This video is about letting those emotions come through without having to explain them with words. I use slow, soft movements to show that quiet feelings are just as real and important. These moments are calm, but still full of emotion.
